About The Position

US Tech Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Databricks Platform Engineer to lead the design and implementation of scalable, enterprise-grade data platforms using Databricks. The role combines hands-on expertise in data engineering and cloud platforms with architectural leadership, solution design, and stakeholder engagement. The engineer will work with Databricks capabilities, cloud services, data processing and streaming technologies, and DevOps practices to support data initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with Databricks, including clusters, notebooks, Delta Lake, MLflow, and Unity Catalog.
• Experience with at least one cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong proficiency in Spark, Python, SQL, and distributed data processing.
• Experience designing large-scale data solutions covering ingestion, transformation, storage, and analytics.
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Structured Streaming, Kafka, Kinesis, or EventHub.
• Experience with CI/CD practices for data pipelines and tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage technical and business teams.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Nice To Haves

• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional or Architect certification.
• AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud architect certification.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
• Experience in machine learning workflows and ML operations.
• Background in large-scale data modernization or cloud migration projects.
