Provide comprehensive Oracle database support in a high-performance, highly available environment. Collaborate with application and business support teams to analyze, design, and implement complex database solutions. Install, configure, and manage Oracle database environments on Unix, Linux, and Windows operating systems. Implement, configure, and support high-availability solutions for Oracle databases. Perform Oracle database patching and upgrades in a heterogeneous landscape, including Exadata, RAC, virtual machine, Veritas active/passive clustering, Data Guard, and Golden Gate. Ensure optimal Oracle database efficiency by performing database tuning, SQL and PL/SQL tuning, and hardware/operating system consulting related to database performance. Ensure database compliance with strict audit standards including SOX, PCI, FDA, FISMA, and HIPAA. Ensure adherence to change control policies. Manage database security at all levels. Perform database backup, recovery, and cloning. Automate and maintain automation for routine database tasks. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in a highly dynamic environment. Travel: Up to 5% travel required (domestic only). Can work remotely or telecommute.
