In this vital role you will support Manufacturing, you will play a key role in enabling data-driven operations through advanced analytics, interactive visualizations, and digital solutions. You will partner with manufacturing, scheduling, quality, and engineering teams to design tools and models that improve production planning, operational visibility, and decision-making. This role combines hands-on data science, strong visualization expertise, and the ability to introduce and scale new technologies within a regulated manufacturing environment. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design and develop intuitive, scalable dashboards and visualizations to monitor manufacturing performance, capacity, and KPIs (e.g., throughput, cycle time, yield) Partner with manufacturing and scheduling teams to develop and optimize production scheduling models and tools Apply advanced analytics and machine learning to improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance process reliability Translate complex manufacturing data into actionable insights for shop floor teams and leadership Support digital transformation initiatives by evaluating and piloting new technologies Develop data-driven solutions for capacity planning, resource allocation, and scenario analysis Collaborate with data engineering and IT teams to build robust data pipelines and ensure high-quality, real-time data availability Implement and support self-service analytics capabilities for manufacturing stakeholders Ensure compliance with data integrity and regulatory requirements (e.g., GxP, GMP, 21 CFR Part 11) Mentor team members and promote best practices in data visualization, analytics, and model deployment

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 2 years of combined Data Science/Analytics and/or GMP Regulated Industry experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of combined Data Science/Analytics and/or GMP Regulated Industry experience OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of combined Data Science/Analytics and/or GMP Regulated Industry Support experience experience OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of combined Data Science/Analytics and/or GMP Regulated Industry experience

Nice To Haves

  • Strong expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire, Databricks) and dashboard design principles
  • Educational background in Data Science, Computer Science/Engineering and/or Information Systems or related coursework.
  • Proficiency in Python, R and SQL programming languages
  • Artificial intelligence for predictive analysis trends evaluation and data analysis.
  • Experience with scheduling, optimization, or operations research methods
  • Experience working in manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial environments
  • Familiarity with production systems (e.g., SAP, MES)
  • Experience with time series analysis, forecasting, and anomaly detection
  • Exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies (IoT, digital twins, real-time analytics)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure.) and big data tools
  • Knowledge of Mfg Ops and deploying analytics solutions into production environments
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
