About The Position

The Sr Data Scientist supports the development of machine learning models that power one-to-one personalization at scale. The role designs, builds, and deploys advanced models to deliver relevant, individualized experiences across marketing and digital channels. It works with product, engineering, marketing, and analytics partners to define strategy, lead experimentation, and ensure personalization produces measurable impact for guests and the business. The position is part of Target Data Sciences, where data science and machine learning teams develop and manage predictive algorithms that use data at scale to automate and optimize decisions. The role combines modeling and data science with software and product development, including highly performant code for model performance at scale. This is a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day role requiring work both onsite at the assigned Target HQ Minnesota location and virtually, according to role, team, and task needs. Work duties cannot be performed outside the country of the primary work location unless otherwise prescribed by Target. Job duties may change due to business needs.
