About The Position

As our Sr. Data Engineer, you are a hands-on technical driver who bridges business strategy and data engineering, working side-by-side with our Data Architect to build and ship high-performance data products on time. You will dive deep into code to unblock engineers, optimize data pipelines, and keep our supply chain logistics running seamlessly so products reach store shelves clean and fresh. This position is based out of the Piscataway, NJ location. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years in Data Engineering
• Hands-on experience with Python, SQL, dbt, Airflow.
• Data Warehouse experience ( Snowflake preferred).

Nice To Haves

• Background in Consumer Packaged Goods or high-volume retail/logistics environments.
• Exposure to automated testing tools like Great Expectations, Monte Carlo, or dbt tests.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the hands-on lead resolving technical blockers across Python, SQL, Snowflake, and dbt pipelines.
• Act as primary backup to the Data Architect, performing GitHub PR reviews to enforce testing, quality, and platform standards.
• Ensure all engineering aligns with modern cloud data warehousing and orchestration standards (Airflow / GKE).
• Deliver high-impact datasets for core metrics (OTIF, Forecast Accuracy, Inventory) sourced from SAP, Kinaxis, and WMS/TMS tools.
• Manage sprint backlogs, project timelines, internal engineers, and third-party consultants across concurrent initiatives.
