About The Position

The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Hyperscale Data Center Delivery organization is seeking a Senior Data Center Commissioning Engineer to support commissioning, startup, testing, turnover, and operational readiness for OCI's Abilene AI Data and OCI's AI Data Center in Shackelford, Texas. This role ensures data center systems are installed, tested, documented, and turned over in alignment with business objectives, operational requirements, industry standards, and Oracle's expectations for safety, reliability, quality, and performance. This is a field-focused role that collaborates closely with commissioning leads, construction teams, vendors, controls teams, contractors, and operational stakeholders. The position is based in Abilene, Texas, with relocation packages available for eligible candidates. Candidates from the Dallas-Fort Worth area will be considered if willing to travel up to 50% to Abilene, Texas.

Requirements

Senior Data Center Commissioning Engineer experience
Experience with commissioning, startup, testing, turnover, and operational readiness of data center systems
Familiarity with industry standards and Oracle's expectations for safety, reliability, quality, and performance
Ability to work in a field-focused role
Willingness to travel up to 50% if based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area

Responsibilities
