About The Position

Welltower, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Data Analyst in Dallas, TX to collect operator data, including financial data from P&L statements, payroll/labor data, and revenue data from various sources. The role involves building and scaling infrastructure for data ingestion, processing, and meaning extraction. The analyst will identify trends, patterns, outliers, and insights to inform decisions and improve revenue/productivity. Responsibilities include validating data completeness and accuracy, leveraging existing data infrastructure for requests, performing data housekeeping, cleansing, normalization, hashing, and implementing data model changes. The position requires working with data providers to enhance data management workflows and interfacing with data end-users (Operations/Finance) and the data storage/management architecture team to ensure business needs are met. The analyst will also develop and execute queries or reports and work with data infrastructures and tools like Power BI, SQL, and Microsoft Excel.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or Business Analytics
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in a related field applying knowledge with data infrastructures
  • Working with data tools including Power BI & SQL
  • Utilizing Microsoft Excel

Responsibilities

  • Collect operator data including all financial data included in P&L statements as well as payroll/labor data and revenue data from disparate sources.
  • Build, evolve, and scale out infrastructure to ingest, process, and extract meaning out data.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, outliers, and insights that inform decisions and provide actionable insights to improve revenue/productivity.
  • Validate data for completeness and accuracy based on guidelines set by project stakeholders or downstream data management systems.
  • Leverage existing data infrastructure to fulfill all data-related requests, perform necessary data housekeeping, data cleansing, normalization, hashing, and implementation of required data model changes.
  • Work with data providers to improve data management workflow.
  • Interface with data end-users (Operations/Finance) and the data storage/management architecture team to ensure that systems meet business needs.
  • Develop and execute standard or custom queries or reports to retrieve data as required.
