Sr. Data Analyst/Sales Enablement

Associated Materials, LLCCuyahoga Falls, OH

About The Position

Associated Material’s Innovations’ (AMI) commercial data does not live in one place. Data sets across the sales cycle- opportunity and pipeline, quotes and orders, actual and benchmark revenue- live in different systems. This role exists to close that gap. It is responsible for engineering the connections between commercial systems and turning the combined result into analytics that frame and change decisions. Building Power BI dashboards is how the work surfaces; joining, modeling, and validating data across systems is the work itself. This is a hands-on role at the intersection of data engineering, applied analytics, and executive visualization, with a strong bias toward insight delivery and measurable business impact. You will inherit an established Power BI and Excel-based reporting environment, own its evolution, and extend commercial analytics well beyond it. The role reports to the Director, Sales Operations and Enablement, and works directly with commercial, sales, operations, and executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA a plus) and 5+ years in data science, analytics, and/or data reporting
  • Advanced Excel data analysis and reporting and power query skills
  • Strong Power BI development -dashboards, datasets, and data models / M and DAX proficiency
  • Strong SQL - comfortable writing and optimizing complex joints, aggregations, and window functions against large dataset
  • Hands-on data engineering: building and maintaining production data pipelines (e.g. Fivetran, Databricks, dbt, Azure Data Factory, or comparable)
  • Demonstrated experience integrating data across multiple source systems- joining, reconciling, and validating data that does not share a common key
  • Experience with large, complex datasets and dashboard performance optimization

Nice To Haves

  • ERP or transactional/financial data experience (order, shipment, revenue)
  • Python or PySpark for data transformation and modeling
  • Palantir Foundry — or demonstrated ability to learn a new platform quickly, as core concepts transfer
  • Salesforce or comparable CRM data experience

Responsibilities

  • Connect commercial systems to answer questions no single system can. Link opportunity and pipeline data to actual revenue, orders, and shipment data across separate platforms — so that a closed opportunity can be traced to realized revenue and forecast accuracy measured.
  • Build rep and territory performance profiles. Combine actual revenue, prior-year performance, plan/AOP, and open pipeline into a single ongoing view of how each rep and region is performing — gap to plan, gap to prior year, and pipeline coverage in one place.
  • Turn transactional data into forward-looking signal. Mine quote, order, and shipment data across the estate to model volume, velocity, and trajectory, and project future performance and gaps.
  • Engineer the data infrastructure that makes it possible. Design, build, and maintain scalable data flows to ingest, transform, and model data from multiple enterprise systems, including Palantir Foundry, Salesforce, ERP sources, and operational Excel-based systems. Own workflows end to end, from raw ingestion through curated datasets.
  • Deliver the analytics layer. Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and Excel models that make the above usable — intuitive, performant, and built to the decisions they support, not to a report spec.
  • Apply analytical rigor. Use statistical methods, modeling, and trend analysis to surface patterns and inform strategy, not just report history.
  • Shape the commercial data architecture. AMI is actively evaluating its CRM strategy; this role helps shape and execute the path chosen — influence over the architecture, not just consumption of it.
  • Make it durable. Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring; document systems and logic so critical commercial reporting is not dependent on any single person.
