About The Position

As a Sr. Cybersecurity Analyst I, you’ll focus on leading Authorization to Operate (ATO) efforts from start to finish—owning documentation, coordinating stakeholders, and guiding systems through assessment and authorization with minimal to no handholding. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity compliance / RMF / ATO support (Strong candidates with slightly less experience may be considered)
  • An active Secret security clearance with eligibility to obtain a Top Secret.
  • Proven ability to lead ATOs independently from start to finish
  • Hands-on experience with: NIST Risk Management Framework
  • Hands-on experience with: NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5
  • Experience writing implementation statements and ATO documentation
  • Strong understanding of cloud environments (Azure and/or AWS)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and executive stakeholders
  • Experience working in federal or government environments

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead systems through the full ATO lifecycle using the NIST Risk Management Framework, independently managing all required security documentation, control implementations, and authorization activities.
  • Apply NIST 800-53 Rev. 5 controls and support cloud-based systems in Azure and AWS by translating technical configurations into compliant, auditable documentation while partnering with engineers and stakeholders.
  • Drive audit readiness, risk identification, and continuous monitoring by managing POA&Ms, engaging senior stakeholders, and ensuring compliance across evolving security.
