About The Position

Under limited supervision, responsible for creating cyber-intelligence solutions to prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. We are seeking an experienced and technically proficient Senior Cyber Security Analyst to join our Information Security Organization to help address Fraud and Security risks. Under limited supervision, you will be responsible for creating cyber-intelligence solutions to prevent internal or external attacks and mitigate sophisticated fraud and security risks across company email, data, e-commerce, and web-based systems. As a hands-on Full Stack Developer in fraud solution integration team, your primary focus will be on the development of advanced anti-fraud systems and integrating them seamlessly with other enterprise tools. You will implement technologies deployed across application, network/perimeter, data, endpoint, identity & access, and mobility domains. Acting as a bridge between high-level security architecture and technical implementation, you will ensure our defenses are robust, scalable, and effective against complex schemes like shipping fraud and account takeovers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related degree, and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
  • Four (4) years of experience in IT information security.
  • General knowledge of hardware, software, and network.
  • Strong, hands-on programming background required in Java, Spring Boot, Angular (or equivalent), REST/SOAP services, JMS, Kafka, and Unix/Linux environments.
  • Proficiency in data engineering and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, Big Query).
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure engineering to drive innovation through modern, cloud-based technology.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Abinitio is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a strong plus.
  • Experience utilizing AI technologies (e.g., AI coding assistants, Generative AI APIs, or intelligent workflow automation) to accelerate development cycles and automate complex business/security logic is a strong plus.
  • Possess strong technical knowledge, including database architecture design and implementation experience.
  • Hands-on experience working in an Agile & SAFe framework, with a strong understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, teamwork mindset, and the ability to innovate through modern technology are a must.

Responsibilities

  • Implements technologies deployed across application, network/perimeter, data, endpoint, identity & access, and mobility domains.
  • Researches attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and provides countermeasure recommendations.
  • Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information and systems.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Drive the hands-on development of comprehensive anti-fraud systems, serving as the primary technical lead for integrating these new security capabilities across existing enterprise tools, legacy platforms, and cloud-native services.
  • Design and develop web applications and REST/SOAP APIs to optimize business processes supported by data and intelligence. Maintain a quality-driven approach to ensure high application uptime and effectiveness.
  • Design, build, and maintain customer-facing digital products and applications specifically aimed at shipper fraud remediation, ensuring a seamless and secure user experience.
  • Develop and sustain robust, low-latency ETL pipelines from a wide variety of data sources in both streaming and batch modes to drive automated fraud detection.
  • Leverage Artificial Intelligence and modern automation tools to eliminate manual/repetitive security processes, streamline development workflows, and enhance the efficiency of fraud detection and response mechanisms.
  • Build strong working relationships across functional teams (Product, Operations, Data Science). Lead change with high energy and a strong focus on the mission to close operational loopholes exploited by fraudsters.
  • Investigate security events and complex fraud vectors to develop actionable countermeasures, advising management on the business impact of systemic fraud or data alteration.
  • Guide and support junior team members, promoting best practices in software development, data engineering, and security.
