The Sr. Customs Compliance Analyst will be responsible for executing trade compliance and consulting, engaging with clients, improving processes and controls, and fulfilling administrative and performance responsibilities. This role involves performing tariff classifications, determining the applicability of special import measures, preparing ruling requests, assessing eligibility for preferential tariff treatment, conducting origin determinations and valuation analyses, analyzing import data for compliance risks and duty savings, and supporting duty recovery programs. The analyst will also assist in CBSA audits and verifications, prepare client-facing deliverables, communicate customs requirements, and provide technical guidance. Additionally, the role supports the development of SOPs, ensures consistent regulatory interpretation, stays updated on CBSA regulations, and identifies process improvements. Administrative duties include accurate time tracking and meeting utilization targets, as well as supporting management with performance feedback and training needs.
