About The Position

This role is focused on growing the ProxximaTM polyolefin thermoset system business. These resin formulations are based on cyclic C5 monomers and other proprietary monomers and additives, with catalyst formulations rooted in Nobel Prize-winning technology. The polymers produced have the potential to outperform existing thermoset composite solutions in applications like wind turbine blades, electric vehicle parts, construction, and anticorrosion coatings. The engineer will help prospective customers globally transition from their current thermoset products to ProxximaTM systems by demonstrating advantages in cycle time, weight, and physical performance on their pultrusion lines with injection dies. The primary work location is the Baytown Technology and Engineering Complex in Baytown, Texas, with collaboration with commercial colleagues in Spring, Texas, and occasional travel within North America and internationally for customer trials.
