About The Position

The Symicor Group is seeking to fill a Sr. Credit Analyst role in the Doylestown, PA market for their client. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing analytical support to Commercial Lending Officers to ensure client service standards are met and loan documentation and credit presentations are following applicable standards, policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. The position includes a salary of up to $85K and an excellent benefits package. This is not a remote position.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration preferred; accounting/finance experience is beneficial. The appropriate combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
Two or more years of credit analysis experience preferred.
Familiarity with financial statement spreading software (Moody’s, Baker Hill, etc.) is beneficial.
Must possess attention to detail, accuracy in work performed, and ability to multi-task while maintaining focus.
Strong Analytical, math, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent PC skills required; must demonstrate the ability to mentor/coach other team members while completing own work at a high level.

Responsibilities

Analyze financial statements and tax returns of varying levels of quality to develop an initial assessment by identifying strengths and weaknesses pertaining to the borrower’s historical performance.
Review and complete independent credit analyses of agricultural, commercial, and construction loan requests of varying sizes, complexity, structure, and industry.
Independently discuss alternative structures, overall assessments, and turnaround requirements with Lenders regarding their own work or the work of others in the department.
Prepare and review in-depth written analyses, including but not limited to financial statement spreads, for relationships of all sizes and levels of complexity, including those with the greatest exposure.
Research industry-specific data from outside sources, including information from borrowers, industry publications, references from other financial institutions, credit agencies, and the internet.
Provide and review written analyses that include strengths and weaknesses of credit approval, denial, or alternative structure to Lenders.
Assist in preparing and finalizing loan committee packets for distribution.
Attend various committee meetings including the loan committee to answer questions pertaining to credit analyses.
Verify compliance with laws, regulations, and Bank policies including enforcement of Bank loan policies and credit culture.
Participate in customer meetings as requested by Lenders.
Assist in report enhancement and reporting to the Board of Directors and Regulatory Agencies.
Assist Lenders in performing and completing property inspections and market evaluations.
Assist the Chief Credit Officer in the preparation of management reports including the ALLL, Concentration CRE, OREO, and Problem Loan reports.
Adhere to applicable Federal and State banking laws and regulations.
