About The Position

The Sr. Creative Designer is responsible for developing compelling creative concepts and bringing the In-Shape brand to life across integrated campaigns, digital experiences, advertising, social media, email, video, photography, in-club materials, and other brand touchpoints. This role goes beyond design execution. Working closely with the Creative Director and broader Marketing team, the Sr. Creative Designer will help concept integrated marketing campaigns, develop visual directions, support photography and video productions, and translate creative ideas into polished work across multiple channels. They will also provide creative guidance, feedback, and, at times, hands-on support to other designers to help maintain a high standard of creative work across the brand. The ideal candidate is a strong conceptual thinker and highly skilled designer who can move comfortably between big-picture creative development and detailed execution.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of professional design and creative experience, preferably within an in-house creative team, agency, or consumer-facing brand.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, campaign development, art direction, and polished design execution across multiple channels, with the ability to translate an initial creative idea into a cohesive campaign or visual system.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Experience developing creative for digital channels, including social media, email, web, digital advertising, and other consumer-facing experiences.
  • Experience supporting or participating in photography and video productions, from concept and pre-production through shoot execution and final asset development.
  • Strong understanding of typography, composition, color, photography, visual hierarchy, and brand systems.
  • Comfortable presenting creative ideas, explaining design decisions, receiving feedback, and advocating for strong creative solutions.
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of ownership and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Positive, collaborative, and comfortable adapting quickly as priorities and business needs evolve.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across varying levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize projects, manage competing deadlines, and maintain a high level of creative quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with an equally strong ability to think conceptually and see the bigger creative picture.
  • Ability to travel to clubs for projects and for company meetings or strategic initiatives.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing creative feedback, guidance, or mentorship to other designers is strongly preferred.
  • Motion design, video editing, and digital design experience are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Concept and develop integrated creative campaigns that support brand, acquisition, retention, new service and product launches, member engagement, promotions, club initiatives, and other business initiatives.
  • Partner with the Creative Director, Marketing team, and cross-functional partners to turn business objectives and creative briefs into compelling concepts, visual directions, and campaign executions.
  • Develop and present creative concepts, mood boards, visual territories, layouts, and other materials that effectively communicate and sell creative ideas.
  • Design and produce marketing and communications materials across digital and physical channels, including advertising, social media, email, web, in-club signage, direct mail, promotional materials, and presentations.
  • Support the creative development and execution of photography and video productions, including concepting, mood boards, shot planning, pre-production, on-set art direction and creative support, asset selection, and post-production.
  • Take creative projects from initial concept through final execution, translating strategy, messaging, and business objectives into cohesive creative solutions.
  • Support digital experiences across websites, landing pages, email, and other digital platforms, partnering with development, CRM, and other teams as needed.
  • Collaborate with and support other designers, providing art direction, constructive feedback, design guidance, and hands-on assistance to strengthen creative work and maintain consistency across projects.
  • Help evolve and elevate the In-Shape visual brand and champion brand standards, identifying opportunities to improve creative systems, campaign expression, templates, visual storytelling, and evolve how the brand comes to like across different audiences, channels, and experiences.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external creative partners, including photographers, videographers, production partners, printers, freelancers, agencies, and promotional vendors, to ensure quality, consistency, schedules, and delivery of creative materials.
  • Work effectively with stakeholders across the organization, including Operations, Marketing, senior leadership, and cross-functional departments, balancing stakeholder input, business objectives, and creative standards.
  • Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and delivering high-quality creative work on schedule.
