About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a Sr. Courier to join their team. This position is full-time and floats between all shifts, starting as early as 6:30 am and as late as 3:00 pm. Overtime and rotating weekends may be required. The role involves loading supplies, completing daily pick-up schedules, delivering picks to the branch, handling specimens safely, operating a company vehicle, using a handheld electronic device, and working with a dispatcher for additional pick-ups. The courier will also evaluate traffic, routes, and weather conditions. Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development solutions, aiming to improve health and lives.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License with travel endorsement and good driving record
• Be at least 21 years old
• Punctual with strong time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Customer service experience
• Ability to problem solve customer issues
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

• Current or Prior Labcorp experience
• 2 or more years of professional courier or route‑based delivery experience, ideally within a medical or laboratory company.
• 1 or more years of experience handling medical specimens or supporting hospital / laboratory operations
• 2 or more years of experience using handheld delivery‑management devices or route optimization tools, such as scanners, GPS‑based routing software, or dispatch applications

Responsibilities

• Load all necessary supplies needed for the daily pickups
• Complete daily pick up schedule in a timely manner
• Deliver all daily picks to your branch at the end of your shift
• Handle all specimens and lab samples in safe and efficient manner
• Safely operate company vehicle and obey all traffic laws
• Utilize handheld electronic device to manage daily picks up
• Work directly with dispatcher for additional pick-ups as needed
• Evaluate traffic patterns, alternative routes and weather conditions as needed
