About The Position

We’re looking for a dynamic Sr. Cost Analyst to drive cost visibility and profitability across our Regalia manufacturing facilities in Laurens, SC, and Cosio, MX. In this role, you’ll partner with plant leadership to deliver clear cost insights, lead variance analysis, and strengthen inventory accuracy and internal controls. Based in Minneapolis, this role offers the opportunity to make a direct impact on operational performance, with quarterly travel to our Regalia manufacturing sites to collaborate with operations teams.

Requirements

  • Experience. 5+ years’ related experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing production costing and modeling.
  • Education. BA/BS in Accounting or Finance.
  • Technical Skills. Excellent understanding of US GAAP/IFRS.
  • High Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and other financial modeling tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to Detail. Ability to plan, organize, and see projects to completion while managing deadlines.
  • Time management/organization skills – the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Great Communication Skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels in the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Cost Accounting & Analysis. Develop, implement, and maintain cost accounting systems, journal entries, documents, and records.
  • Support physical inventories and reconcile inventory balances.
  • Prepare and analyze standard cost variances (material, labor, and overhead).
  • Partner with plant management to have informative reports on plant performance.
  • Forecasting & Planning Support. Participate in departmental, plant, and division annual planning processes.
  • Analysis of actuals to forecast/plan.
  • Ad-hoc Projects & Reporting. Complete month-end schedules, including improving efficiency in reporting.
  • Work with functional managers on understanding financial results.
  • Support finance operations projects and reporting for leadership as assigned.
