About The Position

Gainsight is seeking a full-time Sr Corporate Events Manager to join its Marketing team. The role is remote within the United States and reports to the Director of Corporate Events. The manager supports Gainsight’s event portfolio—including Pulse conferences, trade shows, virtual events, and internal programs—by overseeing planning and execution across multiple events while keeping budgets, vendors, and reporting on track. The role involves close collaboration with Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, Campaign Managers, and Creative in a fast-paced remote marketing environment. The manager leads assigned programs end to end, including flagship events, trade shows, a quarterly virtual event series, and internal programs such as Revenue Kickoff and Quarterly Company Meetings. Responsibilities include coordinating content, speakers, venues, logistics, communications, and on-site production; managing budgets, contracts, agencies, and vendors; partnering on event promotion and follow-up; measuring attendance, pipeline, and retention outcomes; reporting impact to senior stakeholders; and building AI-assisted workflows to reduce manual work. Travel is required for events, concentrated around flagship and peak event periods. The scope of the role may evolve with team and business needs.

  • Hands-on experience managing end-to-end execution of large events with 1,000 or more attendees; B2B SaaS or enterprise technology experience is preferred within this requirement.
  • Experience with multiple event formats, including trade shows, virtual events, executive or VIP programs, and internal events such as sales kickoffs.
  • Strong budget, contract, and vendor management skills, with the ability to manage several workstreams without missing details.
  • Sound judgment and clear, proactive communication; ability to work independently and represent the team with senior stakeholders, including the CRO and CCO offices.
  • Familiarity with software and platforms such as Cvent, Splash, Notion, SFDC, Google Suite, and Slack.
  • Experience working with full-service event agencies and external production partners.
  • Positive, proactive, solution-oriented approach, with a can-do attitude and bias for action.
  • Experience using AI in day-to-day work and willingness to continue learning as tools change.
  • Collaborative style and ability to lead a project or team to a successful result.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience producing global events or managing multi-region logistics.
  • PMP, CMP, or similar certification.
  • Experience in customer success, post-sales, retention, or a related B2B software category.

  • Manage logistics and delivery for internal programs, including Revenue Kickoff and Quarterly Company Meetings, both in person and virtual.
  • Manage event budgets, contracts, agency relationships, and vendor relationships; track spending against plans and report variances.
  • Partner with Demand Generation, Sales, Customer Success, and Campaign Managers on promotion, registration goals, and follow-up from invitations through post-event.
  • Track attendance, pipeline, and retention results for each event, report impact to senior stakeholders, and build AI-assisted workflows that reduce manual operational work.
  • Travel to events, particularly during flagship and peak event windows.
