About The Position

SharkNinja is seeking an ambitious, highly conceptual, and strategically minded Senior Copywriter to shape the voice of its expanding portfolio. This role, based in the Manhattan's Flatiron District Creative Design Hub, is for a master storyteller who excels at the intersection of cultural relevance, product innovation, and rapid execution. The Senior Copywriter will work upstream with brand marketing, consumer insights, and design leadership to build conceptual frameworks, translate complex technical features into persuasive narratives, and drive the creative vision through various media, including TV commercials and DTC launch strategies. The role also involves mentoring junior talent.

Requirements

  • 6+ Years of Copywriting Experience: Proven track record within a fast-paced creative agency or a high-velocity in-house creative department.
  • An Elite, Multi-Channel Portfolio: Demonstrates exceptional conceptual thinking, top-tier short-and-long-form copywriting, successful broadcast/video scriptwriting, and a deep understanding of platform-native social content and digital commerce ecosystems.
  • Technical-to-Human Translator: A proven ability to dissect complex technology or engineering specifications and translate them into simple, emotional, and benefit-driven consumer hooks.
  • Fluency in Modern Creative Tools: Strong familiarity with collaborative platforms like Figma and active, hands-on passion for utilizing generative AI tools.
  • Thrives in High-Velocity Environments: Highly adaptable, prolific with copy options, and energized by tight deadlines. Excels at maintaining a premium creative bar while matching the speed of a global innovator.

  • Direct experience with consumer goods, lifestyle, or DTC brands is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the creation of breakthrough, multi-channel campaign concepts that scale across TV/Broadcast, OTT, digital commerce (DTC, Amazon), paid social (TikTok, Meta), and experiential marketing.
  • Collaborate with product and brand teams early in the lifecycle to define product positioning, naming conventions, and core brand messaging architecture for new launches.
  • Write flawless, high-converting, and culturally resonant copy across all touchpoints, ensuring a distinct, premium, and consistent brand voice globally.
  • Work with Art Directors and Creative Directors through pre-production, scripting, filming, and post-production to preserve narrative intent.
  • Integrate advanced LLMs (like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) into the daily process to accelerate research, test conceptual angles, and optimize copywriting variations.
  • Mentor junior-to-mid level copywriters and foster a culture of high ownership, constructive feedback, and creative ambition.
