Requirements

Bachelor's degree in purchasing, purchasing, or supply chain, or related experience
3-5 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in a technology driven or Transportation environment
Proven research, problem solving and pricing negotiation experience
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

Identifying and securing vendors.
Obtaining quotes for various supply orders.
Making financially conscientious purchasing decisions for products including equipment and supplies being purchased in bulk.
Monitor inventor supplies that are kept on hand for more effective ordering.
Communication with various department heads, management and executive leadership.
