About The Position

Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is seeking a Sr Control Systems Specialist to join the Delta Operations team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role acts as a communication point for emergency and non-emergency calls, managing requests, transmitting messages, and dispatching personnel with minimal guidance. The position involves monitoring and coordinating building automation systems, assisting with preventive maintenance and alarm testing, and activating emergency response protocols. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
3 years of relevant work experience
Safety (Intermediate): The knowledge of and attentiveness to safety as well as compliance with the rules regarding safety.
Computer/Electronic Knowledge (Novice): Knowledge of the use of applications and tasks on computers and other electronic devices as part of regular work responsibilities. It includes knowledge of software such as word processors, spreadsheets, text editors, and graphics.
Emergency Planning (Intermediate): Ability to anticipate resource needs and then arrange, prioritize and shape activities to meet objectives.
Customer Service (Intermediate): A continuing focus on the needs and requirements of customers, anticipating their needs, remaining sensitive to customers while performing services for them, responsive to customer needs.
