About The Position

The Contract Manager will provide broad-based and thorough commercial contract management support to the Contract Management Regional Leader and the GE Renewable Grid Solutions Project Team on the execution of a large-scale offshore wind farm construction project, including, among other, performance of various tasks and support of potential new projects. The Senior Specialist - Contract Management is a non-legal contract management expert supporting all project phases (Inquiry to Order - ITO and Order to Remittance - OTR). This role focuses on projects involving Grid Integration/Data Centers and/or HVDC technology, managing negotiations, risk mitigation, commercial issues, customer/supplier relationships, claims, disputes, and insurance.

Requirements

Professional-level proficiency in both French and English (written and oral) is mandatory.
Significant experience in Legal and/or Contract Management fields.
Knowledge level comparable to a Master’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with extensive relevant experience).

Responsibilities

Manage risk mitigation, commercial issues, negotiations, and relationships with customers and suppliers.
Handle claims, disputes, and insurance matters throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop specialized expertise in the contract management discipline and serve as a best-practice resource for the team.
Contribute to strategy and policy development, ensuring delivery within the assigned area of responsibility.
Act as a skilled influencer, communicating complex messages and building consensus among stakeholders.
Lead small projects with moderate risks and resource requirements, providing guidance to less experienced colleagues.
Use technical expertise and data analysis from GE Vernova’s platforms to support decision-making and the functional Operating Rhythm.
