About The Position

The Apple Services Product, Design & Marketing organization is seeking a Senior Content Features Producer. Apple's entertainment services reach hundreds of millions of customers, and what nearly every one of them sees first is content — what gets surfaced, how it's framed, and whether it looks like something they'll love. Our team owns this layer, translating content design vision into technical execution. We help define and deliver content-driven experiences across services, test which of them actually work, and build the systems that let creative teams produce at a scale no manual process could reach. As a senior individual contributor, you will own a portfolio of those features end to end — deciding what they should be, writing the creative requirements engineering builds from, and carrying them to launch. Creative experimentation and creative data are a core part of that portfolio: you will work with Content Strategy to shape briefs that ask an answerable question, guide the development of creative made specifically to test it, and turn the results into practice that changes how creative gets made everywhere. The role asks for two ranges at once — the patience to set a year's direction and the instinct to catch a single broken fallback state the week before launch. You are credible in a design review and in an engineering review. You would rather create clarity than wait for it. Most of all, you care what it feels like to be the user on the other side of the screen: you are drawn to work that is visually rich and genuinely useful at once, and you treat the trade-off between the two as a problem to solve rather than a given.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product creative experience — producing or program-managing creative and content experiences that ship inside a digital product or service, including features taken from concept through public launch.
  • 5–7+ years working directly with software engineering teams on a digital product: writing the creative or content requirements they build from and quality teams test against — whether as standalone documents or as part of a broader product spec — and working through dependencies, constraints, and trade-offs.
  • Experience partnering with designers and creative teams through briefing, review, and delivery.
  • Creative experimentation: Experience running creative, content, or marketing tests with analytics and product counterparts — shaping the hypothesis, briefing and producing the variants, and presenting what came back.
  • Working with data: Experience with analysts or data scientists on metrics, instrumentation, and interpretation, and explaining confidence and limits to people who don't work in data.
  • Working with strategy: Experience shaping briefs with strategy, editorial, or marketing counterparts, and turning findings into guidance those teams took up.
  • Cross-functional leadership: Experience carrying programs across teams you don't manage, and holding a plan together when priorities move.
  • Writing and presence: Exceptional written and verbal communication, including creative briefs, requirements, and results presented to executive and business audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Communications, Media Production, Marketing, Arts, or equivalent practical industry experience.

Nice To Haves

  • A real grasp of subscription media and streaming, or another business where creative and merchandising move customer behavior, and genuine interest in the content itself.
  • Experience defining or shipping the machinery behind creative production — templating and recipe systems, automated asset adaptation, variant libraries, or generative and data-driven design.
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate testing, holdout design, sizing, significance, and guardrail metrics — enough to partner well with data scientists, question a readout, and spot a test that cannot answer the question put to it.
  • Evidence of building creative guidance from testing or research that partner teams adopted, and of the work changing as a result.
  • Experience building production systems that raised a creative team's output without a matching rise in people.
  • Experience holding several product areas or lines of business at once, and spotting risk early across all of them.
  • Experience taking on work that had no owner and no process, and giving it both.
  • Experience delivering findings nobody wanted — a schedule, a test that disproved a favored direction, a plan that would not hold — and working through the disagreement to a decision.

Responsibilities

  • Own content-driven features from first assessment through definition, build, quality assurance, and launch, with design, engineering, product, and strategy partners.
  • Own the creative requirements engineering builds from and quality teams test against — whether they live in a document of your own or inside a broader product spec — covering how content and creative are sourced, generated, adapted, sequenced, allocated, and presented, and what happens when any of that fails.
  • Turn loosely held creative ideas into definitions specific enough to build, test, and sign off on.
  • Review builds yourself and give feedback precise enough to act on, until a feature meets its creative bar as well as its functional one — across new devices, OS releases, and interface changes that alter how content is presented.
  • Be the person partners bring a stalled feature to, and resolve it rather than route it.
  • Own the creative and production side of experimentation: choose the questions worth testing, work with strategy to brief and produce variant sets that isolate the one thing being asked about, and run execution from asset readiness through launch, monitoring, and teardown.
  • Work with Product's experimentation and personalization leads — who own experimentation methodology, platform capability, and personalization strategy — to settle test design, metrics, instrumentation, and how a result will be read, before anything goes live.
  • Read out results with analysts and data scientists, and write them up so a creative or business partner knows what was found, how confident to be, and where the finding stops.
  • Keep a working body of creative learnings that people actually consult — current, accessible, cited in briefs — not a folder of past decks.
  • Work with Content Strategy on creative briefs so intent, the question being asked, and how it will be measured are settled at the start instead of argued at the end — and so each round starts from what the last one established.
  • Convert learnings into guidance, patterns, and templates creative teams can apply across many titles, surfaces, and markets without reopening the same question.
  • Work through prioritization and sequencing with strategy, business, and editorial partners, including the trade-off between shipping sooner and knowing more.
  • Find the manual work in creative production and test operations that a system should be doing, define what that system needs to do, and build it with engineering and analytics partners — through adoption, not just delivery.
  • Own the creative systems that put learnings into production, including automated optimization of artwork and promotional variants against engagement and conversion.
  • Plan production so one concept can become a full variant set across surfaces and markets without the work growing in proportion, and fix the places where the process itself is the constraint.
  • Earn standing across Design, Content Strategy, Product, Engineering, Business, and Operations, and hold the line between what the creative work intends, what the platform can do, and what the results say.
  • Bring localization and regional markets into the plan while it is still a plan.
  • Run the reviews your portfolio needs — short, decided, and written down afterward.
  • Keep partners and leadership current with brief, predictable written updates.
  • Raise work that is off track early, with the recovery plan attached, and report a result that contradicts a preferred direction the same way you would one that confirms it.
