Sr. Consultant - Dept of War. Contract Management Cell (CMC)
About The Position
The Senior Consultant is responsible for supporting the Defense Health Agency, Direct Care Financial Management, in identifying and prioritizing deobligations across contracts. They use GFEBS, DEAMS, WAWF, and ADVANA to access and analyze financial and contracting data. They deploy analytics to convert data into actionable insights and support reporting and business intelligence queries. They research technical and industry issues, ensure the completion and accuracy of all work products, and expand consulting skills through training, mentoring, and client interaction. They monitor contract reports, partner with accounts payable and program activities to correct data quality issues, and coordinate with contracting to validate reports.
Requirements
- Experience working independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels
- Experience prioritizing tasks, working on multiple assignments and managing ambiguity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and cross functional teams
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work independently in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint as well as Internet research tools
- Experience with GFEBS/SAP
- Experience with Tableau

Responsibilities
