You will join the Enterprise Technology team, supporting the Enterprise Anti-Money Laundering (EAML) Technology group, where you will lead the design of data and application solutions that drive CIBC’s financial crime detection, regulatory reporting, sanctions screening, and AML investigation capabilities. Your work will encompass guiding the functional and technical design of systems across the EAML ecosystem, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations, business objectives, and CIBC’s enterprise architecture standards. You will provide technical leadership, define processing logic across multiple platforms, and offer senior-level guidance to IT management and technical teams, supporting complex decision-making and driving innovation in technology selection. Your responsibilities include translating requirements into robust, auditable solutions, overseeing development lifecycles, and evaluating emerging technologies to enhance detection accuracy, scalability, and operational efficiency.
