About The Position

Concept Solutions is seeking a Sr. Configuration Manager to collaborate with cross-functional teams, leverage modern tools like ServiceNow, and make a measurable impact in a high-visibility environment for the FAA’s ITIPSS I&O program. This position is responsible for playing a critical part in supporting enterprise-level IT change and configuration management for a federal customer—ensuring stability, efficiency, and continuous improvement across systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or a related field with 8+ years of experience, OR 10+ years of relevant Change Management experience
  • Experience with IT Change and Configuration Management processes
  • Strong ability to analyze workflows and improve processes
  • Proven experience working with ticketing systems (ServiceNow preferred)
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on data accuracy and tracking
  • Strong written communication skills, including documentation and reporting
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across teams
  • Self-starter who takes ownership and drives results

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments (35,000+ users)
  • Familiarity working with federal or government clients
  • Experience collaborating across multiple stakeholder groups

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support enterprise IT change and configuration management activities
  • Process and manage change requests using ServiceNow and SharePoint (KSN forms)
  • Guide change requests through established governance and approval workflows
  • Partner with federal leadership to support and enhance automated change management tools
  • Identify gaps in current processes and recommend practical, scalable improvements
  • Maintain accurate data, reporting, and documentation for all change activities
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor and resolve incidents through ticket queues, ensuring timely resolution
