About The Position

The Sr Compensation Specialist is responsible for the on-going support, development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs and processes at the KCNSC. This role provides consistent application, implementation and communication of the company's pay philosophy, job evaluation and compensation processes. It involves performing research and analysis to determine total compensation market competitiveness, applying understanding of compensation principles, concepts and standards in preparing candidate job offers, and conducting job analyses and supporting the development of job descriptions. The specialist will also conduct periodic audits to review and confirm compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and reasonableness of pay practices, and support the preparation of the annual Compensation Increase Plan to the customer. Additionally, the role partners with the Honeywell Center Of Excellence (COE) to ensure coordinated and consistent roll out of new compensation policies and projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in human resources or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in human resources with a focus in compensation.
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
  • Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
  • United States Citizenship.
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).
