We are looking for a talented individual to join our team as a Senior Commercial Field Specialist! You will act as a local on-site program and company representative to small business and commercial customers. Install energy-efficient equipment, conduct energy efficiency (re)audits, pre, and post-installation verifications, and other technical data gathering activities through a defined territory. Support Account Managers in their efforts to influence stakeholders, to sell and/or install energy efficiency retrofits, or new construction. Provides technical advice, guidance, and training on installation, adaptation, configuration, or enhancement in accordance with client specifications. Troubleshoots technical problems and issues and recommends solutions.

Requirements

  • 4-8 years of relevant industry experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver's license in the state you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets CLEAResult’s minimum safety standard
  • Must pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test
  • Consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record
  • Must hold a valid driver's license
  • Must pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment
  • If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located without the need for employer sponsorship or support
  • Successful hires must pass pre-employment checks

Responsibilities

  • Install energy-efficient equipment

  • Conduct quality assurance reviews and energy audits of complex and large-scale commercial buildings
  • Complete on-site verifications and electronic review of field data entered into the program database
  • Provide input and status updates to program staff regarding project scope, planning, and effectiveness of products
  • Provide technical expertise to identify, analyze and resolve issues
  • Travel throughout a defined territory
