The Sr. Commercial Analyst will manage a cross-section of accounts within the Portfolio, acting as the internal and external voice for the client. The primary objective is to free up RM resources to drive revenue growth and new client acquisition. This role involves implementing and managing Commercial Analyst duties on complex relationships, with the RM remaining the primary contact. The analyst will work closely with the Credit Campus to complete quarterly/annual reviews and renewals, determine risk ratings, ensure covenant compliance, and collect necessary financial statements and documents. Collaboration with the Documentation Specialist is key for accuracy and closing coordination. The role also involves establishing strong customer relationships, completing compliance items, preparing Watch List/AQR Reports, and acting as an internal advocate for the assigned book of business. A significant aspect is the development of less experienced Commercial Analysts and improving portfolio profitability. Areas of focus include deepening policy knowledge, underwriting guidelines, building internal relationships, developing product knowledge, improving internal reporting through customer knowledge, proactive financial statement analysis, risk management, developing an external COI network, and building relationships with product partners.
