About The Position

The Sr. Commercial Accounts Manager II, G&P manages business activities for Phillips 66 Gathering and Processing in the West Texas region. The Manager is continuously identifying price and supply/demand trends, cultivating customer relationships, and optimizing revenue contribution from all G&P contracts.

Requirements

  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3 or more years of energy industry and/or account management experience
  • Intermediate or greater proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Willing and able to travel up to 15% of the time

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering, or another related field
  • Working knowledge of Marketing, Pricing, Transportation and/or Commercial operations
  • Working knowledge of the petrochemical industry

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a customer base in the West Texas region
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities to expand market share
  • Develop in‑depth knowledge of G&P market structure and dynamics through key industry relationships
  • Deliver customer-centric solutions and monitor customer portfolios’ performance regularly to ensure targets are met
  • Build partnerships and work collaboratively with internal teams including Operations, Project Development, Legal, FP&A, and Commercial
  • Assume the lead role of customer interface for all commercial activities while collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver projects
  • Identify and execute new long‑term supply opportunities and assist in determining prices and contract terms for profitable transactions in partnership with the Commercial and Trading functions
  • Identify projects and/or activities that improve current processes, then lead those projects or maintain accountability for ongoing activities or objectives resulting from that identification
  • Conduct accurate and timely financial analysis, project approvals, ongoing customer engagement, and strategy setting within the region to support broader organizational goals
  • Consolidate multiple data points to assess market conditions and changes as they occur, then communicate these assessments throughout the organization so stakeholders may react timely
