This position serves as the day-to-day project lead for a mixed-methods research study focused on improving treatment decision-making for older adults with Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD). The project aims to develop and pilot a patient-centered decision aid to support shared decision-making for adults ≥60 years with IBD. Using qualitative methods, user-centered design, and implementation science principles, the study will identify decision-making needs and iteratively develop and test a clinically usable tool. The candidate will work closely with the PI at the Massachusetts General Hospital and collaborators from New York University and the University of Colorado.
