About The Position

Amwins Specialty Auto (MGA, part of Amwins) is seeking a Sr. Claims Manager-Litigation to join. Great opportunity to lead a talented team. ASA is committed to the personal lines auto business. This is a hybrid role (3 days in-office) based in Plano, TX.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• 3+ years of experience in litigation management.
• Current/Active Texas adjuster’s license.
• Effective communication skills including written communication.

Nice To Haves

• MGA/TPA and nonstandard auto experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of 4-5 senior litigation and major loss adjusters.
• Directs litigation strategy for active lawsuits including liability defense, coverage positions, and settlement posture.
• Works with Director of Claims to strategize on litigated claims handling.
• Understands and communicates risk management.
• Assigns and manages defense counsel and controls expenses.
• Reviews legal budgets, invoices, and case progress.
