Investigate and settle advanced, large loss, complex claims promptly and equitably under minimal supervision. Works within established authority on moderate-to-difficult claims. Reviews coverages, determines liability and compensability, secures information, arranges property damage appraisals and settles claims utilizing claims best practices. Evaluates and sets reserves using independent judgment. Assists supervisor and defense attorneys in preparing cases for litigations. Conducts training and mentors new hires. Why Crawford? Requirements

  • Advanced, large loss, complex claims handling experience
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Experience working within established authority on moderate-to-difficult claims
  • Proficiency in reviewing coverages, determining liability and compensability
  • Skill in securing information and arranging property damage appraisals
  • Experience in claims settlement utilizing best practices
  • Ability to evaluate and set reserves using independent judgment
  • Experience assisting supervisor and defense attorneys in preparing cases for litigations
  • Experience conducting training and mentoring new hires
