About The Position

XNRGY Climate Systems is seeking a qualified Sr. Buyer to join its team as part of its expansion in the US, including a new technology headquarters in Mesa, Arizona, in 2025 and a second manufacturing site in 2026. This role will lead procurement for assigned categories and support the development of sourcing strategies to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and reliable supply. The Sr. Buyer will work closely with cross-functional teams to manage supplier relationships, drive cost optimization initiatives, and ensure procurement processes support the company’s operational and manufacturing goals. Success requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead complex negotiations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing within an industrial or manufacturing environment, with demonstrated experience leading sourcing initiatives.
  • Strong negotiation, supplier management, and strategic sourcing skills.
  • Experience with procurement systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders across the organization.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly present information and lead supplier negotiations.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High ethical standards, professionalism, and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Lead sourcing and procurement activities for assigned categories of goods and services that support manufacturing, operational, and office needs, ensuring alignment with procurement strategies and business objectives.
  • Identify sourcing opportunities, develop procurement strategies, and lead negotiations to secure optimal pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
  • Develop, manage, and strengthen relationships with key suppliers to ensure performance, reliability, and continuous improvement.
  • Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives, analyze spending trends, and ensure procurement activities align with budget and cost targets.
  • Draft, review, and manage supplier agreements and contracts while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Conduct market research to evaluate supplier capabilities, identify new sourcing opportunities, and monitor industry trends that may impact supply and pricing.
  • Partner with operations, engineering, finance, IT, and other departments to understand procurement needs and deliver effective sourcing solutions.
  • Support the development and continuous improvement of procurement processes, tools, and reporting to enhance efficiency and transparency.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure appropriate inventory levels of indirect materials and services required to support uninterrupted operations.
