About The Position

We are currently hiring a Full-Time Sr. Business Systems Analyst in Boston, Massachusetts. You will play a key role in shaping data-driven solutions that support Supply Chain operations like transportation, forecasting, and customer service. In this role, you’ll partner with cross-functional teams to turn complex business needs into scalable analytics and system solutions. You’ll help drive innovation while ensuring solutions are reliable, efficient, and aligned with modern data platforms. A Hybrid position at Boston Beer requires that our coworkers reside within commuting distance to be onsite according to their teams' weekly schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Analytics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role
  • 5+ years of experience partnering with software, data, or analytics engineering teams
  • Experience working within agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Experience supporting supply chain or operational domains (e.g., transportation, forecasting, customer service)
  • Ability to manage work across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience translating business problems into data-driven solutions
  • Familiarity with analytics platforms such as Databricks, Power BI, and cloud data environments
  • Experience using tools such as Jira and Confluence

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a data mesh or domain-oriented analytics environment
  • Exposure to advanced analytics, forecasting models, or optimization use cases
  • Familiarity with automation, decision-support tools, or AI-enabled workflows
  • Experience supporting production analytics or data products
  • Background in consumer goods, manufacturing, logistics, or distribution industries

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a subject matter expert for supply chain processes including transportation, replenishment, forecasting, and customer service
  • Partner with data engineers, analytics teams, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver high-value data products
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Design and support analytics-enabled solutions using tools such as Databricks, Power BI, and cloud-based data platforms
  • Drive initiatives that improve decision-making, reduce costs, and enhance service levels
  • Plan and prioritize work across sprint, quarterly, and long-term timelines
  • Support full software development lifecycle (SDLC), including agile delivery, testing, validation, and documentation
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve data products in collaboration with engineering teams
  • Lead initiatives from concept through delivery and sustained operational use
  • Work in a standard office environment with occasional travel as needed
