About The Position

Orgel Wealth Management is seeking a Senior Business Process Analyst who will serve as a key partner between operational teams and Technology to design, optimize, and implement scalable business processes and technology solutions. This role will lead efforts to evaluate workflows, define business requirements, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive solutions that enhance efficiency, consistency, and the overall employee and client experience. Orgel Wealth Management is a growing firm with nationwide reach, serving clients in 43 states with more than $10.4 billion in assets under management. The firm emphasizes genuine relationships, relentless excellence, and client-first service. They are an independent firm with a structure that supports employee ownership and have doubled in size since becoming an SEC-registered investment advisor in 2013, now employing 91 people.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in business, operations, information systems, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, business process improvement, operations analysis, systems implementation, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Manage competing priorities, complex projects, and changing deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate information, identify patterns, analyze root causes, and make sound recommendations.
  • Independently analyze complex business processes and recommend practical improvements.
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to clarify business needs, evaluate opportunities, and develop effective solutions.
  • Build collaborative relationships across departments and effectively partner with business stakeholders and Technology teams.
  • Communicate professionally and effectively with employees, business partners, and stakeholders.
  • Exercise sound judgment and demonstrate strong decision-making skills when evaluating business needs and process impacts.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to firm policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and a collaborative approach.
  • Learn and leverage technology, including Microsoft Office, Practifi, Zoom, Tamarac, and other business systems.
  • Embrace an AI-ready mindset by continuously learning and responsibly utilizing AI-enabled technologies to improve efficiency, enhance decision-making, and increase team effectiveness.

Nice To Haves

  • 5–10 years of experience in business process analysis, workflow optimization, technology implementation, or operational improvement.
  • Experience in financial services, wealth management, or another highly regulated industry.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with operational teams and Technology to identify opportunities, define business needs, and translate complex requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Facilitate current-state and future-state workflow analysis to identify process gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Coordinate structured user acceptance testing efforts by validating solutions against business requirements and incorporating stakeholder feedback.
  • Own assigned process improvement initiatives from discovery through implementation, including requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and follow-up.
  • Facilitate discussions with stakeholders to evaluate processes, identify opportunities, and develop practical solutions.
  • Serve as a subject matter resource for process documentation, workflow design, and operational improvements.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members related to process analysis and continuous improvement practices.
  • May eventually assume leadership responsibilities, including managing and developing team members, as the role and department continue to evolve.
