Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related Engineering discipline required
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement
- Industrial Engineering background or experience in business excellence/continuous improvement
- Lean or Six Sigma certification (minimum Green Belt required)
- Experience supporting or leading process improvement initiatives
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data and drive decisions
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and performance metrics (efficiency, cost, quality)
- Effective communication and presentation skills
Nice To Haves
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Experience with JJOS or similar operating/production systems
- Exposure to financial processes, cost analysis, and business planning
- Experience supporting Kaizen or continuous improvement programs
Responsibilities
- Lead and support process improvement initiatives focused on waste reduction, efficiency improvements, and cost savings
- Identify and prioritize opportunities through data analysis and value stream mapping
- Execute manufacturing improvements to enhance labor efficiency, quality, and operational performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, quality, safety, and finance
- Support implementation of Johnson & Johnson Operating System (JJOS) and related production systems
- Participate in Lean initiatives including Kaizen events and continuous improvement programs
- Analyze performance metrics and define KPIs to drive operational improvements
- Support financial analysis including cost improvement calculations and validation
- Balance responsibilities across both identifying opportunities and executing improvement projects
