About The Position

This is a remote position based in the Washington, DC area, with the flexibility to meet with customers in person 2-3 days per week. The Business Development Manager will have the opportunity to connect customers with the professional resourcing of cleared resources and talent solutions they need, all while building and managing their book of business, directly influencing their earnings. The Business Development Manager is responsible for building and managing a portfolio of customers and prospects within an assigned territory, partnering with new and existing customers to provide professional resourcing and talent solutions for classified programs. This role will also execute against territory and customer plans to capitalize on market/industry and opportunity. The role involves building relationships with employees on assignment with customers to monitor engagement and develop a deeper understanding of clients. The Business Development Manager will own the relationship with customers, drive the entire sales cycle, manage customer questions/escalations, and pursue opportunities to expand scope and services, keeping customer information and sales leads up to date in CRM. Requirements

  • 3+ years’ staffing experience
  • 1+ years’ as a recruiter or sales person supporting government/federal customers
  • Industry knowledge: Knowledge and experience supporting cleared projects (Secret, Top Secret, TS/SCI, Poly) required
