About The Position

EBSCO Information Services (EBSCO) is seeking a Sr Business Data Analyst to join their Product Usage team. This role will support the tracking, analysis, and reporting of product usage across EBSCO’s research tools. The analyst will transform large volumes of usage data into actionable insights for stakeholders. This is a remote, U.S.-based position.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a Business Data Analytics role
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, complex formulas, and data visualizations
• Proven ability to effectively listen to customers and translate customer problems into powerful solutions
• Proficiency in writing SQL scripts

• Proficiency in descriptive statistics with the ability to interpret and communicate findings in terms that non-technical stakeholders can readily understand
• Experience working with large datasets

Responsibilities

• Collect, process, and analyze large product usage datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Produce regular and ad hoc reports for internal stakeholders, presenting findings in a clear and accessible manner
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand reporting needs and deliver relevant insights
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and deliverables, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data collection, analysis, and reporting processes
