Federal Reserve Financial Services (FRFS) delivers a suite of payments services to financial institutions via FedLine® Solutions, Fedwire® Funds and Securities, the National Settlement Service (NSS), FedCash®1, FedACH®, Check Services, and the FedNow® Service. FRFS operates as a fully integrated organization with groups dedicated to customer experience, operations, technology, product and customer/industry management, enterprise services, payments system improvement, and one focused on the ongoing growth and development of the FedNow instant payment service. The FedCash Services group within FRFS is seeking a Business Analyst to join the FedCash Business Solutions & Support team. This position will support a variety of projects and tasks that may include operations support, national coin and currency inventory management, market intelligence, and business resiliency for the Federal Reserve System.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5+ years of relevant work experience - 5-9yrs for Senior Level role.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent analytical ability.
  • Acute attention to detail with a high level of data integrity and accuracy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with people at all levels of the organization.
  • Broad knowledge of the principles of data collection and analysis, business requirements, process improvement criteria, and performance metrics review techniques.
  • Exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint along with various other online applications.

Responsibilities

  • Performs complex analysis of major business issues and proactively searches for and recommends sustainable solutions utilizing established methodology and tools.
  • Reviews, compiles and analyzes detailed and complex statistics and data for major business issues, providing guidance and collaboration in completing analysis, information or process mapping, and/or alignment of the business and related areas.
  • Leads process improvement and solution discussions and presents outcomes and actionable recommendations to senior management.
  • Develops and designs new business processes of a major and critical nature and coordinates the updating of existing business processes.
