About The Position

We are seeking a growth-oriented Sr Backend Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on building, optimizing, and maintaining robust APIs and backend services. We are looking for someone who doesn't just write code, but possesses an innate curiosity for how things work, a strong knack for troubleshooting, and a drive to learn. Crucially, we value efficiency and modern workflows. You should be comfortable utilizing AI-assisted development tools (like GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate your coding, debugging, and documentation processes while maintaining high code quality.

Requirements

• 8-10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of the following: TypeScript/JavaScript, Java, or Python.
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, databases, and microservices architecture.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills; a proactive "detective" mindset when bugs arise.
• Practical familiarity with AI coding assistants and an understanding of how to prompt and validate AI-generated code effectively.
• A strong desire to learn, adapt to new technologies, and communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Attention to detail is essential.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with GraphQL and AWS is preferred.
