About The Position

The project for which client is staffing requires good working knowledge in Playwright. The automation engineer should have good hands-on experience with Playwright. As part of the coding skills assessment, the Automation QA Engineer will be asked to share his screen and open Notepad, Notepad++, or a Word document assuming that Word document is a basic tool each system would have.

Requirements

• Good working knowledge in Playwright.
• Good hands-on experience with Playwright.
• 5+ years of QA experience, covering both manual and automated testing.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, TypeScript, and Playwright.
• Solid experience in performance testing for data pipelines.
• Strong ability to test, validate, and troubleshoot data pipelines end-to-end.
• Comfortable working within the Azure ecosystem, including Azure Portal, Application Insights, Containers, and related monitoring tools.
• Proven capability in setting up, tracking, and analyzing code quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent English communication skills — clear, concise, and direct in both written and verbal interactions.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with C#.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain automated test suites using Playwright.
• Perform manual and automated testing.
• Conduct performance testing for data pipelines.
• Test, validate, and troubleshoot data pipelines end-to-end.
• Set up, track, and analyze code quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
