About The Position

This is a 12-month contract position for a Sr Associate. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of experience with a B.S. or M.S. degree, and preference will be given to those with experience in Pharma/Biotech. The role involves performing experiments, organizing data, and analyzing results with minimal supervision. The associate will ensure contracted studies comply with protocols, guidelines, and regulations.

Requirements

• 2 years of experience
• B.S. or M.S. degree
• Experience following technical protocols and conducting routine laboratory studies
• Ability to clearly communicate experimental results, findings and conclusions
• Familiarity with standard biophysical characterization equipment such as liquid chromatography, CE, or compendial instrumentation (pH, osmometer, SoloVPE, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Plans, conducts or monitors experiments, records and organizes data, analyses results, generates robust and reliable data.
• Ensures that contracted studies are conducted in compliance with the respective protocol and applicable guidelines and regulations.
• Monitors or follows established experimental design and protocols and performs routine tasks and studies to obtain reproducible and reliable results with limited supervision.
• Develops and implements new protocols with moderate review.
• Engages coworkers in scientific discussions.
• Communicates data and interpretation to work group.
• Skilled at developing systems to ensure quality data.
• Skilled and/or knowledgeable in the use of standard laboratory equipment and with one or more major laboratory instruments/techniques.
• Effectively trouble-shoots equipment and experimental difficulties.
• Contributes to internal/external reports, papers, presentations, regulatory documents.
