The Senior Associate, Warehouse Digital Transformation supports digital warehouse initiatives, technology-enabled projects, and operational advancement across Amgen Ohio warehouse operations. This position assists with executing digital warehouse projects, strengthening system and operational readiness, supporting technology-enabled changes, and helping implement practical solutions that improve efficiency, inventory accuracy, compliance, scalability, and reliable patient supply. This individual works closely with Warehouse Operations, Packaging, F&E, Quality, Supply Chain, and external partners to support action planning, timely follow-up, issue resolution, and sustainable improvements. The position supports key warehouse digital transformation activities, including system readiness, testing, training readiness, issue and defect tracking, action follow-up, workflow validation, reporting, user adoption, and coordination to strengthen warehouse execution and patient supply reliability. This position serves as a collaborative and execution-focused role responsible for supporting operational needs, digital transformation activities, system implementations, and cross-functional execution in a highly regulated environment.

Requirements

  • High school/GED + 8 years of Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, Digital Transformation, Engineering, Organizational Leadership, or related discipline.
  • Associate’s + 2 years of Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, Digital Transformation, Engineering, Organizational Leadership, or related discipline.
  • Bachelor’s + 6 months of Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, Digital Transformation, Engineering, Organizational Leadership, or related discipline.
  • Master’s degree
  • Experience in warehouse operations, supply chain execution, digital transformation, business systems, project support, or cross-functional coordination.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, receiving, shipping, inventory accuracy, internal movements, product flow, operational readiness, and end-to-end supply chain execution.
  • Experience supporting digital warehouse initiatives, including SAP EWM or comparable warehouse systems, system enhancements, testing readiness, training readiness, workflow validation, reporting, user adoption, and implementation support.
  • Ability to track action items, timelines, milestones, open issues, and readiness activities with strong diligence and follow-through.
  • Experience supporting process improvement efforts that simplify workflows, improve execution, reduce manual work, and strengthen operational performance.
  • Ability to use data, issue trends, performance feedback, and operational input to identify improvement opportunities and support decision-making.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to work across Warehouse Operations, F&E, Packaging, Quality, Supply Chain, external partners, and site teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, stay organized, follow up on open items, and support timely execution in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Experience preparing or maintaining process documentation, training materials, readiness trackers, issue logs, action trackers, and performance updates.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify barriers, escalate concerns appropriately, and support practical solutions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to digital adoption, collaboration, accountability, practical innovation, and patient-focused execution.
  • Ability to support operational priorities while contributing to transformation, process improvement, and sustainable business results.

Responsibilities

  • Support digital warehouse initiatives that improve system readiness, warehouse performance, inventory accuracy, data visibility, and patient supply reliability.
  • Assist with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM), SAP S/4HANA, and other warehouse systems or digital platforms through testing activities managed in Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), while supporting training readiness, issue and defect tracking, action follow-up, workflow reviews, evidence documentation, retesting, and system validation to strengthen warehouse execution and operational readiness.
  • Help translate business needs into clear action items, timelines, milestones, follow-up activities, and measurable results.
  • Track transformation actions, readiness items, open issues, decisions, and follow-up activities to help ensure timely execution.
  • Partner with Warehouse Operations, F&E, Packaging, Quality, Supply Chain, and external partners to support cross-functional communication, testing activities, implementation readiness, and issue resolution.
  • Identify process gaps, workflow inefficiencies, recurring barriers, and improvement opportunities, then support practical solutions with the appropriate teams.
  • Use operational data, issue trends, performance feedback, and frontline input to help identify improvement opportunities and support business decisions.
  • Support digital solutions and workflow enhancements that simplify warehouse processes, reduce manual work, improve data visibility, and strengthen execution.
  • Assist with training readiness, process documentation, testing support, communication materials, and operational readiness tracking.
  • Support performance tracking, issue logs, action trackers, and other tools used to monitor progress and improve warehouse execution.
  • Contribute to a culture of accountability, collaboration, practical innovation, digital adoption, and patient-focused execution.
