Sr. Associate, Strategy and Operations - Regulatory Readiness

DoorDash USALos Angeles, CA
$87,000 - $128,000

About The Position

The Regulatory Readiness team ensures DoorDash can enter new regulatory environments (laws, jurisdictions, operating rules) without being unprepared. This team operates at the intersection of Legal, Compliance, Product, and Operations, translating often vague or evolving regulatory requirements into concrete operational plans. They define what needs to change, by when, and how to measure success. When a new rule is announced, this team is responsible for implementing the necessary operational changes. The role requires a data-driven individual comfortable with ambiguity, capable of transforming unclear regulatory language, incomplete data, and competing interpretations into clear recommendations. The ideal candidate moves quickly, pays attention to crucial details, and collaborates effectively with Legal, Engineering, Product, Design, and Operations teams. This role offers the opportunity to influence and align cross-company efforts, partner with various departments to implement regulatory requirements into operational changes and user experiences, and manage projects with the urgency of regulatory deadlines. The position involves owning and building end-to-end processes and frameworks that are durable and sustainable beyond specific regulations.
