About The Position
Workday is seeking highly skilled Full Stack Engineers to contribute to a cross-functional team building transformative AI agents for HR & Finance. This role is crucial in implementing tooling strategies, staying informed about industry trends, and ensuring our AI-driven solutions integrate effectively within the Workday stack. Your technical contributions and team-first attitude will play a key role in delivering high-impact products that scale our AI capabilities and help global organizations simplify complex business processes.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering
- 1+ years experience with a web development framework (Python preferred: Flask, Django, or FastAPI)
- Bachelor's degree in a computer related field or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of software development best practices (DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, observability)
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience working within fast-paced, agile environments and multi-functional teams
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical partners
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and translating complex problems into clear, thoughtful solutions
- Committed to fostering an inclusive, team-oriented environment and contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
Nice To Haves
- AI Agents Experience is a plus
- Prior experience working Langgraph, Model Context Protocols (MCP) is a plus
- Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with the tradeoffs and architecture of modern distributed systems
