About The Position

McCormick is seeking an Sr. Associate Product Manager to join their team. This role will be responsible for business analysis, insight generation, and leading strategic marketing activities for the Grill Mates brand. The position will cover profitability, promotion, pricing, packaging, distribution, merchandising, research, and new product plans. McCormick is a global leader in herbs, spices, seasonings, and condiments, employing 14,000 people worldwide. This role is immediately available in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at their Global Headquarters in Hunt Valley, Maryland.

Requirements

• Degree in Marketing or closely related business discipline.
• Ideally 2-3 years’ experience in marketing or a related field (preferably in CPG).
• Strong understanding of Excel, data analysis (Circana – POS & Panel or similar syndicated data platform), and financial analysis.
• Good written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership, creativity and problem-solving skills with a bias for action.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and motivate a team to achieve results.
• Demonstrated excellent results in professional positions that indicate interest and capability for the role.
• Demonstrated success leading and championing business recommendations for senior management.

Nice To Haves

• Consumer products experience preferred but not required.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams a plus.

Responsibilities

• Development and implementation of marketing plans for product segments that support McCormick & Co.’s net sales and profit objectives.
• Providing analysis of and recommendations relating to product offerings and business results.
• Understanding competitive brands and providing action plans to address threats.
• Understanding and identifying challenges and opportunities at key customers.
• Development and execution of plans that address key issues and opportunities for the segments.
• Execution of promotional calendars consistent with the marketing plans.
• Execution of product line optimizations and cost savings initiatives.
• Independently leading cross functional teams and agencies (project management) for new product development, graphics updates, and/or new initiatives to grow the business.
• Delivering monthly business analysis for shipment pacing and forecasting through presentations shared with senior marketing leaders.
• Preparing monthly consumption analysis of key programs and recommendations shared with senior marketing leaders.
