About The Position

The Senior Associate, People Technology is a key member of Revantage’s People Technology team, supporting over 1,400 employees nationwide. The Senior Associate, People Technology partners with HR stakeholders to develop technology solutions to address business needs and support strategic objectives. This position will analyze work process design and flow, improve processes, and leverage our investments in HR technology, specifically Workday. Acting as an internal People Technology Product Owner for Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking (PATT) and is a core leader in our product-led, governance-first operating model. This role partners with a group of peers to own what is delivered and why, ensuring defects are eliminated through clear design authority and quality gates, reducing rework, and stabilizing BAU while enabling global readiness. Partners with portfolio stakeholders, AMS partners, and internal SMEs to translate policy intent into scalable Workday configuration and to protect design integrity across business processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field of study.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Workday experience. Preferably comprehensive knowledge of Workday Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Time Tracking, Absence Management.
  • Proven full-lifecycle Workday Human Capital Management implementation experience.
  • Basic working knowledge of relevant laws, internal policies, and procedures that impact HR information.
  • Strong consultative and critical thinking skills with a focus on solutions to deliver the best service possible.
  • Deep proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word (includes V-lookups, formula writing, pivot tables, macros)
  • Proven project management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to be timely and responsive to the needs of the department and organization.
  • Ability to gather, analyze and interpret data, as well as improve processes.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and be flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills including ability to develop presentations summarizing analysis and recommendations, catering to the specific audience.
  • Ability to collaborate both internally and externally to provide customer service oriented technical support, and to train system end users.

  • Workday Pro certifications (Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, with Benefits a plus.
  • Experience in multi-portfolio, PE-backed environments; global implementation and localization exposure.
  • Experience with compliance-driven changes (e.g., retirement/benefits, taxation) and payroll vendor integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Product Ownership for the Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules owning backlog management, intake triage, prioritization, and roadmap delivery.
  • HCM Transformation Support: Actively support all aspects of Revantage's Human Capital Management (HCM) transformation by participating in the configuration and buildout of the Workday HCM platform.
  • Workday System Deployment and Administration: Assist in Workday HCM deployment activities, manage and maintain the system, and ensure it meets the organization's HR needs. This includes configuring, customizing, and optimizing the system.
  • Integration Management: Support the coordination of Workday integration with other systems, such as payroll, to ensure seamless data flow and process efficiency.
  • Security and Access Control: The Sr. Associate should define and implement security policies, user roles, and access controls to protect sensitive HR and financial data within the Workday system.
  • Business Process Management: Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to understand and map business processes, translating these into system configurations and workflows, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Change Management: Support the implementation of changes to the Workday system. Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth transitions and user adoption and contribute to all aspects of Workday update cycles.
  • Compliance and Data Security: Ensure that Workday configurations and processes comply with relevant data privacy regulations and industry standards, taking measures to protect sensitive employee data.
  • Workday Expertise: Provide Workday subject matter expertise across multiple modules to internal and external stakeholders. Knowledge of Core HCM, Compensation, Payroll, Benefits, Timekeeping, Absence Management, Recruiting, Learning, and Talent.
  • Platform Consultation: Consult with key stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop technology solutions to support business needs and strategy.
  • Process and Customer Service Improvements: Enable innovative solutions, policy changes and/or major variations from established policy, which must be approved by appropriate leadership prior to implementation.
  • HR Technology Business Acumen: Maintain awareness of current trends in HR technology with a focus on product and service development, delivery, and support, and applying key technologies.
  • Design Authority: validate requirements, document design, and support quality configuration.
