The Sr. Associate Director of Development serves as CTY’s second frontline major gift fundraiser while also leading CTY’s corporate and foundation fundraising efforts. The position manages a portfolio of individual major gift and foundation prospects, develops institutional funding opportunities, and supervises the Development Associate, with responsibility for strengthening both CTY’s current fundraising results and long-term donor pipeline. The Sr. Associate Director of Development is responsible for securing major gifts to support Johns Hopkins University and its divisions or departments. The Sr. Associate Director of Development will manage the full life cycle of their portfolio of ($1M+), high potential prospects and donors, implementing strategic fundraising plans, and working collaboratively with university leadership, faculty, staff, and colleagues to achieve fundraising goals. The Sr. Associate Director of Development will focus on securing gifts of $100,000 and above. This position requires travel and meetings on and off campus during regular and non-traditional business hours and is expected to operate with high levels of autonomy.
