Individual would have responsibility for creating, tracking, and ensuring that all Ariba transactions associated with the Syracuse Facilities department are invoiced correctly, along with any other administrative tasking related to Purchase Orders (POs). Further, they would act as the primary Ariba support specialist for the Mechanical Center of Excellence (COE) Engineering center. In addition, this individual would also act as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for all shipping related matters for the Syracuse SITE. Such responsibilities include monitoring, acknowledging, updating, and servicing any shipping requests. Servicing said requests would involve working to ensure the items are properly packaged, crated, and labeled in accordance with all internal and external process and regulatory requirements. Finally, this individual would act as the overall administrative assistant for the Facilities organization and would be charged with various tasking as such. Examples include keeping the kitchenette stocked, managing the campus-wide water coolers, and the like. Due to the size of the Syracuse Site, the volume of requests is large, so excellent organizational skills are a must. Further, because this is an internal customer-facing position, this individual would also require excellent verbal and written communication skills.
