Our CPDC department is seeking a Sr. Assistant Director and Career Consultant to work with graduate students within the School of Computer Science (SCS) at CMU. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated top performer with higher education and/or industry experience to demonstrate knowledge in a dynamic role within one of the most respected schools in the world. In this role, you will work closely with the existing CPDC team serving technical graduate students and focus on career development initiatives for students within various departments within the School of Computer Science. The connected culture between the CPDC and the School of Computer Science allows for the opportunity to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will build and grow positive relationships, not only with students, but also with department heads, academic advisors, faculty, and employers. CMU retains students from diverse backgrounds, so cultural sensitivity and competencies are critical to this position.
